A very important part of a baseball players development takes place in the minor league system with minor league spring training and then the season.  It is never known how long a player will spend in the minors before getting a “cup of coffee” in the show, and a large number of them will not make it that long.  With six levels in the Cincinnati Reds minor league system, some players will spend about a year at each, while some will blitz right through the system to arrive at Great American Ballpark.

It can be said that every player is given a plethora of resources along the way to help prepare them for the next level and develop into a major league player.  The Reds have surrounded their organization with great coaches and staff members to help the players.  I wanted to take the chance to list some of the staff at all the six minor league levels and the rover instructors and coordinators that all lend a hand.  You should recognize a large number of these names.  If you would like, visit www.baseball-reference.com and type in the coaches name to some information and stats about their careers.
