Although Major League and Minor League Spring Training camps are two different items, players from each have plenty of time to hang or mingle with each other.  Their drills and games are totally separate, but they do share many areas like the weight room, batting cages, back fields, and the picnic table area pictured above.

Located between the weight room and the batting cages, just feet from both clubhouses, is a cement area filled with wooden picnic tables for players to hang out.  Some players choose to eat or talk on their cell phones, but the picnic table area is also a good place for players from all levels to hang out, talk baseball, or catch up with friends that they have not seen in the offseason.

“I dont care if Im Cy Young or if Im the 25th man on the roster. If Ive got that ball in my hand and m out there on that mound, thats not your mound. If you want to run across the mound, go run laps in the bullpen...If my grandmother ran across the mound, shed hear the same thing he heard. Period.”
