“Prepare to Win”

As the Cincinnati Reds enter their clubhouse for Spring Training in Sarasota, Florida, the first thing they see is a picture of Hall of Famer Johnny Bench. Bench is arguably one of the greatest catchers of all time. Above this giant autographed picture, is the slogan, “Prepare to Win.”

Bench, among other former Cincinnati Red greats can be found throughout spring training as guest coaches or just stopping by to check in and talk to some of the team.

Behind this wall pictured above with the Bench photo and slogan are the player’s lockers, where they change and get ready to hit the field for another days work. As spring training is winding down, everyone is getting excited for the 2009 Major League Baseball season.
