The Fort Wayne TinCaps, minor league team for the San Diego Padres, opened a brand new downtown stadium on Thursday night in front of 8,208 fans. This ballpark is beautiful and state of the art. I took tons of pictures, and am going to share a bunch with you in no particular order.
Any big time minor league stadiums you have visited and really liked? Please click on the comments below and let us know about them. Thanks.

Great pictures Corey. Fort Wayne looks very strong this season, that can’t do anything but help open a new stadium.
Nice pics Corey. Great job.
Nice Pics Corey. Great job capturing the park and the atmosphere.
Thanks Chad…I hope the pictures do this place justice, as it is very nice…There are always a few things to pick on, but overall a great facility. Can’t wait until everything is finished…Luckily I will be back to about 14 more games this season to see…
Fort Wayne does look strong…They also appear young and almost an entire new roster from last year.
I think there are 7 from last year’s roster. The team is actually older than the last few years. As I understand it, the Padres went deeper with college players in the draft last year, so that helps.
tHAT PLACE CAN’T TOUCH DAYTON BEFORE DAYTON HAS CB!
Something is sure working so far for the Tin Caps…They have some great players and are playing really well right now…
got to love the Fort Wayne “pot heads”….
