Below are pictures of Stanley Coveleski Regional Stadium, home to the South Bend Silverhawks.  The Silverhawks are in the Midwest League and the Single A affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks.  This stadium is located just minutes from the Notre Dame Fighting Irish Campus and has been opened for about 20 years.

I heard they good philly cheese steak

  2. Corey says:

they are good sandwiches, but a bit pricer than some stadiums…

  3. mackdaddy says:

Not like the dragon burger. You should rate the food at minor league and major league parks you visit.

  4. Corey says:

Just wait until we play at West Michigan…I plan on trying to tackle the monster burger that they sell and blogging every step of it…I know some other staff members are going to try also…

  5. mackdaddy says:

Some one told me the pitching coordinator was in there for 7 days trying to get the Dragons on a roll. When those “roving coaches” come in are the easy to deal with or pain in a%*?

  6. Corey says:

This is true…The Reds minor league pitching coordinator came to Dayton for the home series and then on the road with us to South Bend. Mr. Jenkins is a great guy and good to deal with…Something he did must have worked…winners of 4 of 6…

  7. […] I am not a huge fan of the field or the clubhouse at the Cove.  I have been told that when the place opened in the mid 80’s, it was the best in minor league baseball. I don’t think they have done much to it since.  I did a full picture review of it last season.  To see the article, click HERE. […]
