Round one of the Battle for Ohio is over and the winner is the Cincinnati Reds, as they defeated the Cleveland Indians two games to one at Great American Ballpark.  Not sure if there is a trophy for this event, but sure hope the “Ohio Cup” is better than this one!

Went down to the game today with my buddy Mark.  Besides the humidity, things were great.  We went to our favorite restaurant, Silver Spring House, before the game and headed to the old yard.  Downtown was a bit crowded with the Taste of Cincinnati going on, but we snuck in the back way with no traffic.  It was great to see former Dayton Dragon Carlos Fisher get his first Major League win during his Major League Debut.  As long as the weather works out, headed back down to the yard tomorrow with my dad. Go Reds…
