Being on the road during the baseball season is always an adventure.  The cities we travel to are unfamilar, and some are very small with not much to do.  One of my favorite things to do to pass time is to find a local movie theatre and relax while watching something on the big screen.  Kevyn Feiner and myself did that the other day, and had a fantastic time.  We settled into the Clinton 8 Theatre with a bunch of kids and watched Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinosaurs.  The best part of the movie was that it was in 3D, and we got to wear the glassses!!  I will go out on a limb and say the popcorn there is the best that I have EVER had at a theatre, and Feiner seemed to really enjoy his blue Icee.  We both enjoyed the flick and were amazed by the 3D technology.  Feiner even went as far as to say, “It was a treat for the eyes and was visually stimulating.”

What else was terrific was that Feiner continued to wear his 3D glasses after the movie was over and is pictured below wearing them on the team bus on the way to the game.  “These things are awesome.  I feel like I can fight crime,” said Feiner.  If all goes well, a group of players will return to the movies Sunday night following the afternoon game in Cedar Rapids.
