Touchdown Jesus!!

Following our 3-0 loss to West Michigan at home last night, we set out for South Bend, Indiana, with a one game lead in the Wildcard Race over the South Bend Silverhawks. Opening tonight, we play South Bend seven times in the remaining 14 games.  We arrived at the hotel a few minutes after 3 AM and I jumped right into bed. I awoke around noon and put on my shoes for an afternoon jog down to the University of Notre Dame.  It was my first time on campus in about five years, when my buddy Jerrod and I went for a day after dropping former NBA player Robert Whaley at a funeral in Benton Harbor, Michigan.

It was a beautfiul day running around campus, until I was attacked and pushed from behind.  It turned out to be Dragons Strength Coach Nigel Price, so I was not to upset.  I stopped running and walked around campus with him for a bit.  School was back in session, so there were a bunch of people walking around campus.  After a bit, Nigel headed back and I started running again towards all of the athletic fields and back of campus.  Below I will include a few pics from campus.  It really is a nice and pretty place and very clean.   A lot of the buildings all look the same, but still nicer than lots of college campuses I have seen.

Huge series starting tonight…Time to get my mind right!
