NYC- The Big Apple

I recently returned from a fantastic trip to New York City. I hadn’t been there in quite a few years, but honestly not much has changed outside of the two new baseball stadiums. Times Square still looked about the same, but of course the billboards have all changed. I biggest difference were the prices, as everything seemed to go up. There is plenty to do in this city but be prepared for a large credit card bill at the end. I am going to share some pictures from my trip with you now. I also have a other articles planned in the next few days so please continue to check back.
In case you missed my posts from the other day, here is one of the new Yankee Stadium and one on the new Citi Field.
I do not follow politics and world news as close as I should, so I embarrassed to say I really did not know what this was before I got there, but the Clinton Global Initiative was going on in New York. Seemed like a big deal and the Sheraton was packed with people for this conference and tons of media surrounded the hotel.

If you have ever walked the streets of NYC, you will realize that people will do just about anything for money. Not sure what kind of living this people make, but some of them sure work hard spending hours working a crowd.

This guy was trying to put himself in a small plastic box...

...and he did. Ouch!

The famous Naked Cowboy was doing his routine in Times Square

Rumor is this guy makes six figures!!

Naked Cowboy's older sister, the Naked Cowgirl!! I doubt she makes as much money.
One of my favorite parts about going to New York is the food. They have some of the best deli’s and bakery’s in the country and I had to have them all. Put my diet aside for a few days and sure glad that I did. Found a new bakery this trip called Crumbs Bake Shop, and they had the best cupcakes I have ever eaten.

Carnegie Deli, my favorite of all the NYC Deli's

Carnegie Breakfast: Corned Beef Omelet Pancake Style and Pastrami Omelet

Stage Deli

Half a Corned Beef Sandwich and a half of the Aretha Franklin (Pastrami, Roast Beef, Turkey, Cheese)
Some other highlights in Manhattan…

Good Morning America does each show behind those windows

Hard Rock Cafe on Times Square has some original outfits from the Beatles

MTV Studio Stage, although I heard they were leaving

Rockefeller Center
The rest of the pictures are all from Time Square. I cannot imagine how packed this place is on New Years when the ball drops. A newer addition are the tables and chairs you can sit on as they blocked half the street to traffic.
