Am I the curse?

The Chicago Cubs have “The Curse of the Billy Goat,” the Cleveland Indians have “The Curse of Rocky Colavito,” and now the Chiefs co-ed adult ice hockey team has “The Curse of Corey.”
Since joining the team as an invited sub, the Chiefs are 0-3 in the games that I have played in. I am starting to feel guilty and wondering if they are going to tell me to stay home next week. The other night we played a 10:30 PM game, a late start for me, and lost to Team Fire 6-3. It seemed like an evenly matched game, but a few defensive breakdowns were the downfall.
For the second straight game I added a goal, and also added an assist in this game, but it wasn’t enough. I also drew a tripping penalty from a member of Team Fire, sending him to the box for three minutes.
With each game I am enjoying it more and seem to be getting a little bit better. As I have talked about in the past, it is amazing how much better I feel playing after a 12 year layoff from when I last played organized ice hockey in high school.
Well, hopefully Team Chiefs can break this three game losing streak next week and put any questions of a “Corey Curse” to rest. If not, I might need to find a new team to sub for!

I think you are a bit to advanced…I mean, rumor is the number one college team in the nation asked you to walk on and you said you were to busy and cool for them…any truth?
yea, well the real reason was that i didnt want to embarrass them at all. haha
If you are putting pucks in the net, and assists on the board you are not the problem
