“Clubhouse Blog” back on Daytondragons.com
Posted on 10. Mar, 2010 by Corey in All, Dayton Dragons Baseball, General Baseball.
As I prepare to return to Dayton for my third season as Head Clubhouse and Equipment Manager, I will also be beginning my second season writing for the “Clubhouse Blog” on the Dayton Dragons website. Please click HERE to take a look at the page with the current post of the archives from last season. Below is the first post that is up on that site. Please check back daily for more updates from Spring Training and throughout the regular season.
As the snow begins to melt and the weather slowly turns warmer, it is again time to get geared up for the baseball season. Although baseball in Dayton is still a month away, players and staff are hard at work in Spring Training getting ready for another full summer schedule.
For the first time in Cincinnati Reds history, Spring Training is being held in the state of Arizona, at a brand new complex in Goodyear. The facilities are state of the art and will help a great deal in getting everyone prepared for action.
I am extremely excited to get back to Dayton and get to work again in my role as Head Clubhouse Manager. I’ll be blogging all year long and look forward to giving you an inside look at the Dragons clubhouse here on daytondragons.com.
As an added bonus, the Reds have brought me to Goodyear to work Minor League Camp. For the next month, I will be in Arizona working with the entire organization as players try to make one of Cincinnati’s minor league teams. Over the next few weeks, I’ll give you an inside look of this new facility and the scoop on how the 2010 Dragons team is getting into shape.
As always, I welcome your article ideas, comments and questions. Please feel free to contact me at clubhouse@daytondragons.com.
The countdown to Opening Day is on…
