Futures Game Framed Jersey

Following 2009 Spring Training, the Cincinnati Reds headed to Dayton for a first of its kind exhibition game against a group of the top talent in their farm system. It was called the “Cincinnati Reds Futures Game.”
The two teams played a game in front of a sold out Fifth Third Field crowd of
more than 9,000 who saw the Reds win the contest.
A game of this magnitude, with the Major League club playing the top minor league prospects was a first of its kind in professional baseball and proved to be a huge success.
During the game, the Futures team wore custom jerseys during the game. One jersey was signed by the entire Futures team, and was framed as a gift to the Reds organization.  One of these frames hangs in the hallway at the new Spring Training Complex in Goodyear, Arizona.
