Minor League Workouts Begin

For players trying to make a Major League Baseball team, they have been at camp for over two weeks, and most have seen game action already. But for professional baseball players trying to make a minor league club, their journey is just beginning.
Today is the first official workout for the Cincinnati Reds Minor League Pitchers and Catchers. In several days they will be joined by position players in Goodyear, Arizona for workouts, drills and eventually games.
I have been in Goodyear working at the new Reds Spring Training Complex for almost a week now, and I can tell you it is top notch. Everything was carefully studied when putting this place together and the amenities add up.
Over the course of the next month, I plan to bring you some information about the complex and the different features that it offers as well as player features, and other interesting stories. As usual, please feel free to let me know if there is anything special that you would like to know about.
