Dayton Dragons Opening Day 2010

With freezing like temperatures, the Dayton Dragons took the field last night in the season opener against the Lansing Lugnuts.  The weather did not scare many away as a packed house at Fifth Third Field was give quite a show.  The off-field activities were spectacular with a fly over, white doves released, drumline and much more.  And the play on the field did not disappoint either as DiDi Gregorious hit a walkoff single in the bottom of the 11th to put the Dragons in first place after day #1.  The same two teams will go at it tonight and tomorrow night before Dayton hits the road for Bowling Green and Fort Wayne.
