Cooley Law School Stadium, Lansing, Michigan

The Dayton Dragons opened up the 2010 Midwest League second half last night dropping an 11 inning game to the Lugnuts 7-6. They will get back after it in a few hours on Circus Night at the stadium.

The Lugnuts are playing in the same park that they always have, but the name has changed from Oldsmobile Park to Cooley Law School Stadium. The playing surface also has been renamed Jackson Field.

Dragons center fielder, and 2010 2nd round pick, Ryan LaMarre is from Jackson, Michigan, about a 30 minute drive from Lansing. He told me he had a few hundred fans come to cheer him on last night and will have close to a 1000 come from his hometown tonight.
