Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets against THE U

Ok, I admit it, I attended an NCAA Football game and enjoyed it. Â Yes, that is not a typo, I attended an NCAA Football game and liked it.
My cousin Scott and is dad Steve took my buddy Mark and I to Bobby Dodd Stadium today to see the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets take on the Miami Hurricanes. Both teams appeared to be a bit down this season, and neither has a chance to win the ACC Conference and go to a BCS game.
The weather was beautiful and the seats were excellent, just a few yards off the 50 on the Tech sideline in the lower deck.  Although this was my second game at Bobby Dodd, I enjoyed this visit a lot more.  Plenty of empty seats were available in the 58,000 seat stadium, but I liked the facilities.  Some of Atlanta’s skyline can be seen over the top of the place providing a great view.
Having no affiliation to Tech, outside of Scott and his family being die hards, I find it very easy to root for them, and proud to wear my new hat I purchased around town.
Again, thanks to the Merlin’s for the tickets to the basketball game last night and the football game today. Â They know if they ever have an extra, I would be more than appreciative to accompany them.
Enjoy a few pics of my day.
Got one video of Tech taking the field…
