While I was at Parkview Field the other night with the Dayton Dragons playing the Fort Wayne Tin Caps, they held an ’80’s night for the fans at staff.  In Fort Wayne, every Friday night has a “theme” to it.  As you can see pictured below, most of the staff was dressed up and the players pictures on the scoreboard were all done using photo shop to give them a 1980’s twist.  I did not see many, if any, fans participating, but still a cool idea.

    Corey,
Its a shame that the fans don’t get into things like this. Sounds like an awesome idea to have lots of fun with. Perhaps it would actually work better in a place like Dayton where the season ticket base is larger and you get a lot of repeat customers, thus ones who know the promotions and would be more likely to take part in nights like this.

I agree…I have seen theme nights done at other places and they can be quite cool!
